It might work with todays special effects, but I couldn't even name any current actor that would be able to play the role of a dbz character

If Hugh Jackman hadnt of got fired he would of made a good Goku, also they were suppose to have that bird from Tru Calling in it i think she was gonna be Chi Chi, and i think Jessica Alba was suppose to play Bulma.
Its my attitude deal with it

I remember FUNi first saying that it was going to come out in October 2004. There were just too many problems with it. In which I'm very happy that it got scrapped, because I hate how FUNi presents DBZ. Not to mention that DB has already been made into a live action film in the early 90's (Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins), which totally bombed. It's a sign! I think that if there were to be another movie, it should be animation produced by TOEI.

Yes i agree with SON-KUN , A live-action movie would pose too many problems for the producers, I mean no one alive looks like any of the DBZ characters, and second....how the ehck would they manage the hair !!!
A new animation movie from TOEI would be great though, just another villain popping up, some good action scenes, and all the remaining z-fightiers after GT. I wouldn't mind that at all.....
Cant have enough dragonball i say !!

Ok i dont really know if its canceled or not but:

According to my info this takes place in sayian saga and ends with vegeta flying away (probably they planned to make 3 episodes- sayian , frieza , cell and maybe buu tough it would be hard to do that especially get actors for goten and trunks) so no1 recives ssj level

Piccolos acter is Christopher Judge (playied Teal'c in stargate sg1)
Raditz: Jason Bateman (Teen Wolf Two, Necessary Roughness, The Sweetest Thing)
Krillin: Verne Troyer (Mini Me: Austin Powers 2 & 3)

This is what Chan would look as ssj <a href='http://I like to party ever Saturday night/dragonball-z/Images/LiveActionMovie/Goku.gif' target='_blank'>http://I like to party ever Saturday night/dragonball-...nMovie/Goku.gif</a>

Info is taken from

<a href='http://I like to party ever Saturday night/dragonball-z/Info/LiveActionMovie.htm' target='_blank'>http://I like to party ever Saturday night/dragonball-...ActionMovie.htm</a>

It seems i cant give the link

anyway

eorge Lucas' CGI Company ILM has signed a contract to do the special effects so expect some kick ***** action scenes and imagery.

Sets are currently being built at the FOX Studios in Sydney, Australia.

The hair will be very unique. It will be relatively normal but still have "bounce".

Frieza will be mentioned but he will not make an appearance.

Goku's uniform will be blue and not orange.

Bulma will have blue hair

A movie of DBZ would be both cool and weird. Oh well I guess all we can do is wait and see right?
